Boudoir Interior is a small startup company that markets designer interior products across the globe. I teamed up with the brand to design and develop visual communication assets including their brand identity and a fully responsive ecommerce website.
The client wanted a simple iconic logo to represent the brand using two but limited colors — black & white. As a solution, I utilized a combination of the brand's initial, B, and a sofa that serves as a visual representation of their products; The result altogether reflecting the brand's timeless and classic charm.
Building the ecommerce Website
The website had to be engaging enough to attract sales without sacrificing the brand's visual concept. The User Experience should be seamless on any device and the User Interface should be easy to understand but not boring.
For this, I added subtle animations within the site and incorporated the black & white with hints of curves and overlays to avert from the classic corporate look, at the same time keep the brand's elegant tone. I devised a refined customer flow to minimize the required interaction between the user and the purchase for an optimum User Experience. I ensured users can view and buy an item in seconds by adding a quick view feature, or find a product easily through a simple search & filter function.
